  Really this place is a blast from the past! I love it. Really affordable books and an excellent range - even from the latest best selling authors! If you are keen to waste your money then continue to buy brand new - otherwise....

  I used to volunteer here, and I was always meant to do a review, but now months after working there I now really want to do one. Boswell's books is an amazing family run business, and though it has undergone dramatic changes this past year, it remains the same sweet place I knew. Even though I do not visit a tenth as much as I had in the past, I still can ensure that sweet old Johno will be behind the counter swigging from a can of pepsi; even though he knows its bad for him. Telling me about how he remembers confetti flying from the windows of the shops on Queen Street the day The War ended. Bless this bookshop, as it is one of a very few family owned businesses that remain in beautiful old Ashgrove.

  If you don't find exactly what you wanted, the friendly staff will always search out the back for you, or search online and get the book in for you. No request is too weird.

  Boswells was absolutely amazing. The staff were fantasic and extremely helpful. The staff were more than happy to assist me with finding books and if they didnt have the book i was after were more than happy to look up a copy and order it for me. The lovely lady karen with the curly brown hair behind the counter was very funny and made me feel right at home. I had a very positive experience with their wide ranging selection of genres and authors. Was very impressed and the prices were fantastic . I would highly recommend this book store to everyone interested in good literature and friendly service staff.

  When you first enter Boswell's books and coins, you feel as though you enter a parallel universe! Though, unfortunately time doesn't stop whilst you're in the store, you can imagine it really does.

  The selection of books from all genres is outstanding and if you can't find exactly what you want, you'll be sure to walk out with 5 others you didn't know you wanted. seriously, it can't just be me right?
