  Had a great time here last Saturday with friends for my birthday. Had a beautifully made dry martini. The woman that served us was wonderful. Great vibe. Very dark. Took ages to get used to how dim it is. It's called "Junk Bar" for a reason, the decor is kitsch and many pieces of furniture look like they were collected from kerbside throwouts. Great fun. Love to go again soon.

  The Junk Bar is a fantastic bar with super friendly and kind hosts who cannot do enough for you as well as an intimate music venue where I have seen some of the best music I will see in my life. The staff will even order food for you from local establishments if you are peckish and they have amazing cocktails and wines. A place I always feel at home and will keep coming back to.

  The most welcoming, cosy, flexible cocktail bar. Couldn't recommend Mia the owner more highly! Makes every visit an experience to remember. One of the only places you can get truly amazing customer service!

  The Junk Bar is a wonderful little "hole in the wall" in Ashgrove, a long time favourite of ours and a very welcoming vibe. The owners are gorgeous, the seats are all super comfortable and I have yet to find a better cocktail in Brisbane. Desert Tears and Junk Sours are my personal choice, if you like something a bit sweeter, try Pie in the Sky! They also have divine non-alcoholic options as well. Cannot recommend this establishment highly enough!
